FMV intends to start a new procurement to secure delivery

To guarantee delivery of armoured wheeled vehicles to the Swedish Armed Forces' in 2014 FMV intends to start a new procurement as soon as the verdict entered into legal force.

Short-range missile ready for Gripen

FMV has delivered the Iris-T missile to the Swedish Armed Forces. The missile will replace the current "Robot 74" for the Gripen aircraft.

Royal Thai Air Force Gripen

The first Gripen fighter for Thailand completed its maiden flight in Linköping, Sweden, yesterday. The flight lasted for 80 minutes with Saab test pilot Mats Thorbiörnsson at the controls.

Stealth corvettes ready for missions

FMV handed over the two first Visby corvettes to the Swedish Armed Forces at a ceremony in Karlskrona on December 16.

The series' of five Visby corvettes are high-tech ships. They are designed to have the ability to operate in several areas, such as demining, anti-submarine warfare, surface warfare, maritime surveillance and maritime security and in international operations, but also to provide support to the society for example when there are accidents at sea.
